El Ballistic LT de 17′ se basa en el nuevo concepto LT (Light & Tough) de DAIWA.
Los nuevos carretes LT son significativamente más ligeros y, al mismo tiempo, ofrecen mayor potencia de recuperación que los modelos anteriores. Las dimensiones de los cuerpos de los carretes son menores y la fuerza de recuperación se ha mejorado gracias al nuevo diseño de engranajes. El cuerpo del rodillo Zaion, resistente a la torsión, garantiza un almacenamiento seguro del equipo y contribuye a su bajo peso. El sistema de frenado ATD garantiza una fuerza de frenado constante e inmediata sin resistencia al arranque. La manivela de aluminio fresado CNC está firmemente atornillada y se asienta sobre la rueda motriz sin holgura. El mecanismo MagSealed impide la entrada de agua por el eje, ¡ideal para la pesca en el mar! El engranaje Tough Diggigear fresado garantiza una potencia de recuperación óptima y una resistencia duradera.
La potencia de frenado se ha incrementado aún más gracias al nuevo diseño: el tamaño 2500/3000 ofrece una fuerza de frenado máxima de 10 kg, los modelos 4000/6000 12 kg y los modelos más pequeños 5 kg.
El tamaño 6000 viene con una perilla de manivela con manija eléctrica, que es muy cómoda de sostener, especialmente con cargas pesadas, ideal para picar o alimentar de manera liviana.
